Being assigned an AFC is scary because it’s a coin flip and my child was only two at the time. To have someone and trust they will keep your own daughters best interests first without bias is very hard. Susan saved my daughter . She will have stable life home family and won’t be moved around and conf...used. Susan looked at the facts not emails to influence her . She saw the case due to actions and facts . She also responds promptly and does not take any BS. I wish I had the confidence that she has. She also has a great fashion sense . But seriously I feel like crying because after two years I feel like I fought to be understood and that’s what happened. My fam & I could not be more grateful to her ability to see through all the background noise and untruths. Thank you Susan .

Calling this woman an attorney feels like it would be a disgrace to the legal profession. I have been involved with Ms. Mintz for 6 years. She has been assigned as the AFC for my children in my matrimonial case. What I have observed and experienced from her within and outside the courtroom can onl...y be described as "horrific." This woman is a chronic liar. She has completely disregarded my children and myself and has actually made decisons that have placed my children in harms way. I have also observed her taking the side of my ex-husband to a very inappropriate degree. She will actually make motions parallel to my ex and in support of everything he reports to her and that he is asking for. She is also extremely money hungry. She once told me that she did not have to listen to a word I said, then proceeded to walk away from me and asked me for $3,000 in front of the judge moments later. The lack of professionalism, underhanded and nefarious actions that she has made because of her personal feelings is so obvious that she is a danger to her profession. I implore anyone who reads that and is considering hiring Ms. Mintz to consider otherwise.

Susan helped me beyond words through a custody case. I was in a fog and devastated when my exe tried to “un-mom” me. Susan was by my side through it all. Susan represented me in my divorce case which involved a bitter custody battle over my premature newborn son. She was very reassuring and knowledgeable about aspects of what to expect in court and throughout the divorce process. Susan prepared me well and was always available for any questions I had.... When I disagreed with her because my emotions took over, she always managed to get me to listen to her and follow along with what she knew was best. And she was always right! Always!
