I should of written this review a while ago. I was in a situation where I was completely innocent but everything was against me. I was literally up the river at the time Nassau county had a 99% conviction rate my attorney at the time was advising me to cop out to 3 years although I didn’t do it. I fi...red him and hired Steven Gaitman and it was probably one of the best decisions I’ve made in my life. He worked diligently on my case advised me and my family as I was a minor at the time. He cleared my name and saved valuable time in my life. Honestly my daughter was born the next year and that wouldn’t of happened had I been in prison. I don’t write reviews for anybody or anything good or bad but I owe Mr Gaitman at least. He’s represented me and countless friends to everybody satisfaction. If you read this review just know I’m proof. I was facing 6-12 years and picked out of lineup. Hire Mr Gaitman and good luck with your case.

Gaitman was excellent!! He was very informative and knowledgeable about the ins and outs of my case. He kept me up to date about every step on my case. Originally I asked for help from a well known Attorney who’s specialty was family litigation. What that person told me was “ if it w...ere me, I would call Steven” . Since I had a Crimal matter I was referred to Steven. Best call I made. I felt very comfortable with Steven’s experience and skill level from consultation to resolution. As most good lawyers do in conversation he gets to the point pretty quickly and prevented me from rambling on about to personal problems which got me into the jam in the first place. This should not be considered rude, but it’s actually a very good technique used to get the facts in quicky so that Steven can determine how to best help you. It’s a technique I use with my clients as well and it works so I understood it when it was reversed to me. I was wrongly charged with a slew of Felonies. I couldn’t believe it. As some reading this review may have already learned it’s not what you see on TV. You ACTUALLY can be charged with a felony with no supporting evidence, drags through the legal process and you guilty until You prove you Innocence. Also if the courts believes these accusations can be imprisoned. Bottom line is you need a Paid/ Hired Lawyer in court every time. I didn’t know it then but my Crimal problems went away once I hired Steve. As previously mentioned my charges were bad. When I was arrested and extradited to NY the arresting detectives where very nice to me. They where accommodating and even offers me refreshments and real food while I waited to Be arraigned. I thought they were joking pulling my leg when they asked me if I wanted stuff. I figured they would just turn around and laugh. But the where serious and even offered me extra phone calls which is made. You see that the difference when your WELL REPRESENTED. They don’t mess around and I was in central bookings for like 2 hours. Not 2 days. At the my arraignment the prosecution ask the Judge for 25K Bail! Ridiculous but they went there. I walked out of court a free man paying no bail and released on my own recognizance after a masterful arraignment argument was made on my behave. You need to know that the arraignment is probably the most important part of the whole process because you can be battling your case behind bars and that is very difficult on both parties to win when they drag you into each court date in hand cuff’s looking lookin and smelling like a convict Crimal. I did not have to experience that. Steven was very reachable when not in court. He returned my phones. Steven is very good with text. I suggest text. Steven represented me with Honor and integrity. He has a very strong presence in court. Very professional and well dressed. There are some sloppy lawyers out there, But not Steve., he is is the Man in the court room. They will think twice about what they say and do around Steve and that what you want so that your not railroaded at every court date. The prosecution lost before it got started. They fumbled around through the paper work in court because they where not ready for Steve. In court your voice is only as good as your layer. If you have a dad Attonery or NO Lawyer then you have NO voice. My Case was completely Dismissed because Steven represented and was my Voice. If Steven can’t help you or couldn’t, then No one can or could. Some prowl actually do bad stuff. But some good people get jacked up and that was me. Remember this, Good Services are not cheap and Cheap services are not good. Steven’s services are worth every penny negotiated. Don’t wast any more time.
