Many of these cases involve surgery, such as a spinal fusion for a herniated disc or shoulder or knee surgery, or a brain or spinal cord injury.

Robert tries cases to verdict. In Kings County in 2019 he obtained an approximately $28 million jury verdict for a man whose brain bleed was not diagnosed in time at a public hospital; after appeal, a judgment of approximately $17 million was paid in full. Other verdicts include approximately $4.3 million in a Westchester wrongful death case (2017), $3.5 million in a Queens delayed cancer diagnosis case (2018), $1.75 million in a Nassau birth injury case affirmed on appeal, and $1.5 million for an MTA bus passenger in Queens (2015). He has helped recover over $100 million for injured clients. Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome.

He also works as co-counsel and trial counsel for other lawyers. Referral fees are shared as permitted by Rule 1.5(g), with the client's written consent.

He is President of the Latino Lawyers Association of Queens County and a member of the New York State Unified Court System Advisory Committee on Civil Practice. Excellent service!!!

I had a work injury and was referred to Robert Miklos of "Silverstein, Awad and Miklos". My accident was life changing and I wasn't completely sure what to do. While in school, I was talking to a friend who was his client in the past and referred me to atty. Miklos. The first conversation I had with ...atty. Miklos was enough to convince me to have him represent me. He was very helpful and answered any and every question I had concerning my case, as well as always keeping me up to date with our progress. He helped secure a settlement that was much better than I thought I was going to recieve, and it was painless! Medical Malpractice

I came to Robert Miklos of Silberstein, Awad & Miklos when I was unhappy with my attorneys representing me in a medical malpractice case. Switching to Robert Miklos and his firm was the best decision that I could have possibly made for me and my husband after the tragedy that we had suffered through.... Robert and his firm were very professional and thorough. He always made sure that he explained everything to me and my husband and made us feel comfortable through the entire process. Excellent attorney
