Robert A. Miklos, Esq. is a partner at Silberstein & Miklos, P.C. in Garden City, New York, and a trial attorney who focuses on high-exposure medical malpractice and serious personal injury cases for clients in New York City, on Long Island, and throughout New York State. He represents people harmed by birth injuries, surgical errors, failure to diagnose, and hospital and nursing home negligence, as well as victims of construction accidents, car accidents, slip and falls, and premises liability, and families pursuing wrongful death claims.
He has helped recover over $100 million for injured clients, including a $29 million jury verdict (approximately $17 million sustained on appeal). Robert A. Miklos, Esq. is appointed by the Chief Administrative Judge of the State of New York to serve on the New York State Advisory Committee on Civil Practice. The Committee advises on potential reforms to the Civil Practice Law and Rules (CPLR) to promote fairness, efficiency, and access to justice in New York’s civil courts. In this role, Mr. Miklos draws upon his extensive experience as a trial attorney and leader in the legal profession to help evaluate and recommend improvements to the state’s procedural laws and the administration of civil litigation.
Mr. Miklos is President of the Latino Lawyers Association of Queens County and founding President of the Latino Lawyers Association Scholarship Fund, Inc., which supports scholarships, mentorship and educational programs for law students. He previously served on the Board of Directors of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association. He is admitted in New York and Pennsylvania and before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.

Construction Accident Case
