Richard Peter Ford

I hired Mr.Ford after consulting 10 lawyers prior.He listened to what I wanted out of my divorce and educated me on the process and my rights in this matter. I found that Mr.Ford also was their for support and was able to leave the worrying aside.He filed all the papers and documents on a very timely... schedule,court dates and what to expect.Mr.Ford was very professional and his office kept me up to date every step of the way.My case was complicated and other issues were addressed concerning property and maintenance.Mr.Ford called or emailed me with information and he stayed on top of things,which is very important as the court system is backed up so time was very important to me. I found that Mr.Ford was very educated in all aspects by book and his many years of experience...he was able to "think outside the box"..In the final out come my divorce was granted and all property matters etc. were finalized and I was made whole again..Mr.Ford did get me everything on the list that was requested at our very first meeting.It went down exactly as he planned and said it would go. I highly recommend Mr.Ford and will continue to use him in the future..he LISTENED to my wants and needs and met them in all aspects.He's a great lawyer and very compassionate and dealt with sll my issues with care and understanding. Ten years ago, when I was going through my divorce, I hired Richard Ford to represent me in my divorce. I had met with several lawyers prior to hiring Richard. A co-worker's sister who was also a lawyer in a different field, recommended I meet with Richard. From the very beginning, Rich...ard came across as very genuine, he was as painfully honest to me as I needed. My divorce was not very amicable, but Richard made it bearable. He always kept me in the loop, letting know what to expect, and a timetable of when he thought life would get easier. Going to court with Richard, you can't help but notice the great rapport he has with other lawyers, (including his opposition), the clerks, and the judges we came across. Seeing the respect the many lawyers walking the hallways of the different court houses showed him, definitely put me at ease. My first court date, I was pretty nervous, and he quickly calmed me down knowing I was in good hands. As I mentioned the divorce was not amicable, and as nasty as some of the comments my ex may have said during our meetings, Richard remained the course, professional, courteous, and so much more knowledgeable than our opposition. Just watching his courtroom demeanor, you could sense his total knowledge of the laws with regard to my case, and how he was going to try to convince the judge to see how they pertained to me. Richard's listening skills were very much appreciated. Too many lawyers, (and a lot of non-lawyers), tend to just talk, and not listen to your' responses. Without listening skills, the lawyer misses pertinent information. Richard made it known from the very beginning, he wanted to understand every aspect of the case and look at it from all angles. It was funny as he would refer to the "Godfather" movie as to not wanting to walk into a surprise that i didn't inform him on. He used the line in the movie. I would highly recommend Richard Ford to anyone. His professionalism, Honesty, and competence left me feeling rest assured he'd be fighting for my interests.

We are still in process right now, but so far Rich Ford has been there for me, he will always call me back in a timely matter when I leave a message and keeps me updated on everything. He seems very trust worthy. (Which is rare for an attorney) and I would recommend him to my friends and family and I... would defiantly hire him again if needed.
