Replied last January 31, 2019I did not lose HIS paperwork but I did misplace MY notes. This client told me he made more child support payments but when he got to court he had Insufficient proof. (Always pay your c/s by check or money order and save all receipts) and he also told me he was entitled to credits from rental income which was true but the rental income was lower than he reported. My prediction was based on his information. If you tell your attorney the truth you can get an honest prediction of the outcome; when you don’t you cannot. This client paid a minimum retainer and I told him if there was anything left I would refund him. He owed me $100.00 and I waived it. Some people like to blame someone else instead of owning their mistakes. I wish him good luck.
