Nancy Jeanette Dreeben

I can’t say enough good things about Nancy Dreeben. A few years ago, I was going through a child custody dispute. I was not allowed to take my daughter out of the mother’s house due to court paperwork her mother filed (we all know the other party lies and says whatever necessary to fit their agend...a). The mother’s agenda was keep me away from my daughter and make me broke at the same time. Why? …  in my opinion, to make me look like I'm a bad that shouldn't be allowed to be a dad while at the same time making me go broke so that I would not be able to afford a custody trial.  I was allowed to see my daughter ONLY in the mother’s house.  To make matters worse, my daughter’s mother installed a camera in her house to record me during my visits with my daughter.  In addition, my family was not permitted to see my daughter.  This all happened while I was paying full child support (yes … the child support went to the mother getting her hair done and a new car). 1.    Hire Nancy Dreeben: I hired Nancy off of a recommendation from an attorney I know. 2. Parenting time #1: by filing the appropriate paperwork, Nancy was able to get me parenting rights (where I could take my daughter to my house one day during the week and every other weekend). This was just in the beginning. These cases take a long time. 3. Parenting time #2:  Nancy took my daughter's mother back to court and was able to get the parenting time adjusted so that I had custody of my daughter 50% of the time! (though I was still paying child support). 4. Trial: Nancy is the calm, cool, and collected type in her office. In the trial room she was like a lioness and that trial room was her jungle. When it was Nancy’s turn to litigate the case, she turned the whole situation around bringing both truth and logic back into the court room. She made the mother's case and the mother’s attorney look ridiculous at times in front of the judge. 5. Trial outcome: a) I have custody of my daughter 50% of the time.  B) Every aspect of my daughter's parenting needs/require my approval too! I get to be a dad and not relegated to the side like trash. I live in the city so I we agreed to send my daughter to a private school which is equal distance between my daughter’s mother and me. I do not have to pay child support as that money is now going to pay school tuition each year (and not to her mother’s hair or new car fund). Conclusion … I’ve have a wonderful experience working with Nancy Dreeben.  She is the best attorney. The whole experience/situation is nerve racking/horrible. You'll have many questions.  Nancy Dreeben is always there when you have those questions. That was very important to me.  You need to know somebody is in your corner.  Hopefully you will have Nancy Dreeben in your corner. Thank you Nancy!

Nancy Is the best attorney, she was extremely dedicated and fought for me. Most lawyers look at clients like a paycheck and dont care... but Nancy was different she actually cared about my situation and I feel it was a blessing to have hired her as my attorney she fought for a little more than a year... for me and I won my case!!! Nancy Dreeben is someone very special. I had fired my 3rd divorce attorney after spending over 100k in attorney fees fighting a very difficult ex spouse and her boypal William Sullivan of Long Tuminello in Bayshore, NY. He was representing my ex wife FREE OF CHARGE for four years (I’d like to know ...what male divorce attorney represents a female client for free unless there’s a personal relationship of some type? Am I right?) Anyway, this clown thought that I was going to foot the bill and when I had separated from my third attorney. He very stupidly and foolishly filed a $100,000 plus lawsuit to try and collect his attorney fees that he had been racking up for the last four years servicing my ex wife. I contacted a friend of mine who was a criminal attorney and I asked him if he could refer an attorney to me. He did not hesitate to give me Nancy Dreeben. Nancy obliterated this clown in court...she manhandled him....she made him look like the minor-league attorney that he truly is. Nancy exploited his entire lawsuit which was amuck with errors, omissions and mistruths. She brought up the fact that he represented my ex-wife free of charge and what type of divorce attorney does that! It was like the slaying of the beast. The judge found in our favor and only awarded his firm a total of $7500. which was my NYS minimum required to pay because I am the money party. Nancy has done a tremendous job for me on several other fronts including reworking my custody and visitation agreement with my ex-wife who was exploiting the language in our old stip of settlement to restrict my access to my children. Nancy put a stop to that as well as defending me in a frivolous order of protection brought by my ex wife. Nancy is a student of the law. She is extremely well prepared in court. She is articulate and fights hard for me. By far and away, Nancy Dreeben, is one of the best attorneys that I have ever dealt with in my life. If for any reason you were considering hiring Nancy, my advice would be that if you didn’t do it that would be the biggest mistake you made. Need to give you a fighting chance and is usually followed by a victory. That is my experience with this find attorney!

I hired this attorney after being referred by another whom I had used in the past. The initial meeting at her home was brief but positive and left me optimistic. I hired her despite her high hourly rate. Unfortunately She called me after 9pm the night before court to inform me that she had lost all o...f my paperwork. She then arrived at court late and unprepared and the results were comsideribly worse than her “worst case scenario”. She offered a partial refund and after several inqueries instead sent me a bill claiming I owed her more money. Very dissatisfied and would NOT recommend
