Mike is an untrustworthy individual and makes false promises to attract business. He charged $15k, for a basic one-page document that his wife filled out during a phone call and filed with the court. He failed to provide monthly invoices per his retainer agreement. He ignored my request when asked fo...r a copy of the petition he claimed he worked on and never filed with the court. His wife, Kris, who handles all his legal work and provides legal advice despite not being an attorney, made excuses for his absence and failed to relay messages. Mike could not justify billing at his rate ($500) there is no rate listed for his wife. When questioned and asked for a refund of the remainder of my retainer, he aggressively refused, claiming there was nothing left. His Wife filled out the one-page document and she filed it with the court, we never went to the courthouse for anything or filed anything else and yet he states nothing is left of my $15k retainer. I plan to take legal action against him. Do not hire Mike!!
