One of the worst decisions I made in my life was hiring Melvin Stein and his horrible office staff after my wife filed for divorce. His main goal is to bill bill bill and he has zero negotiating skills. His idea of negotiating is writing emails back-and-forth full of legal mumbo-jumbo, with no subst...ance most of the time difficult to understand and give you the long and rambling feeling. He loves to show up to court, even though there’s nothing to discuss Again another money grab if anybody is thinking of hiring him, I can only say run the other way fast. He gives you time frames and promises that never come to fruition. He does not take any direction from his client like myself..

I have had any attornies before but Mr. Stein has been a true Godsend to me! I have avoided so many bad situations by making one phone call and that was to Mr. Stein! I have been a client for over 20 years as he is well versed in not only family law but business law as well. Maybe he was good at one time, but one of the biggest regrets I have in my life is hiring this guy - an unequivocal disaster for me - although there are a number in the area of matrimonial law whose g...oal number one is to bill, bill, bill, without getting anything done until it's trial time and then they're not ready for trial, but are ready to get you a garbage settlement. He one of those. Avoid him.
