Marc Joseph Ialenti

Marc represented me in a matrimonial case. My ex came without an attorney. We made an agreement. The case was with the state already. Marc drew up a contract to pay my ex thousands of dollars directly and the judge accepted it. Monies paid directly to an ex instead of the state are not considered by ...the state. He did not either think of that or he did not knowthat. Either way, I am out close to 8 thousand dollars because of his representation or as the case me be, lack of. He may be OK regarding other areas of the law, however he failed me horribly in a matrimonial case.

At this point I would have to agree with the first 3 reviews. I hired Marc 5 months ago and am having the same experience as stated in those reviews. He never returns a phone call, does not get the case to move forward, does not let you know what's going on with your case, seems to be more concerned ...with the rights of my husband than mine. In 5 months of working on my case he has no correspondence to show me between him and the opposing atty. He absolutely and positively will leave you hanging shortly after you give him a retainer. My husband has stopped paying his court ordered support as he had been in the past and Marc has done nothing about it even though he is aware of it. I have not heard from Marc in 3 months and he has not returned my calls. He has had his secretary call me though to tell me when a court date is. I am unable to attend my own court appearances because my husband sends no money for gasoline for my car and this atty allows it. I'm also stuck with him as is another reviewer.

It is very difficult to get in touch with Mark; you literally have to ambush him in his office. As another poster said, he does overbook, and so no matter how many times you leave messages with his secretaries, he does not respond ( I have found only one of his three secretaries to be consistently po...lite ) . To be fair, Marc is honest and knowledgeable. However, he has kept me hanging so many times, and let my divorce case drag so long, that I must question how much compassion he really has deep down inside. Perhaps I will re-visit this when my case is over, but at this point I feel I am stuck with the wrong man for the job.

Mr Ialenti seems to know what he is talking about However, Marc has never asked for any maintenance for me I had to go on wefare since Marc NEVER asked for money for me. Our children are grown so there is no child support, My EX-Husband had sold my cars switched his business to different names Marc N...EVER mentioned any of that at court or in conference HE NEVER asked for my exhusband to be held in contempt for breaking the divorce papers. Marc NEVER called me back and the worst part is my EX HUSBAND said its easy to pocket people when you have MONEY then told me GOOD LUCK , I would hate to believe this HOWEVER you can form your own opinion That was mine. MARC spent too much time telling me he has to ask the other lawyer GREAT you think TOO BAD HE WAS NOT AGGRESSIVE ENOUGH AND DID NOT TELL THE OTHER LAWYER WHAT I WANT ONLY KEPT ASKING QUESTIONS??WHEN HE SHOULD OF BEEN MAKING A STATEMENTS !!
