I am finally reaching the end of a nearly seven year divorce. My son was almost four when the divorce started and he was my primary concern. I went from one attorney to another, seven in total, hoping to find one who cared. Sadly I came to the conclusion that it is impossible to defend your own inter...ests including that of your own family. I actually interviewed Alex Potruch but passed him over. I am not sure why. All I can say is that I came back to Alex, where I finally found some peace. Peace because I could rest at night knowing he was honest and trustworthy, he actually did fight for his client and the facts. He cared about the ramifications of the divorce on my son and me. The facts were always overwhelmingly in my favor but it never seemed to make a difference til Alex took over my case. Previously I felt the attorneys simply had their eye on what they wanted to take and used what I call “legal theatrics” to make it their own. It is a very helpless feeling knowing what is going on yet not being able to stop it. Alex has put a stop to that.

Mr. Alexander Potruch represented me in a very embittered divorced that lasted for many years. He was the ultimate professional, knowledgeable and accomplished attorney who was well versed and proficient in the complicated mechanics and procedures of the court systems. As there were serious custody issues at risk, he never took his eyes of the goal of getting the optimum results for my children’s best welfare. All things being equal, he always chose the path which would minimize my own trauma and always concerned himself with minimizing his fees, (which were always fair and never inflated). Divorce, especially when it concerns not only one’s own welfare but also those of minor children, is never going to be without stress to say the least, and to have someone like Mr. Potruch represent me is as best as you can get. He is respected by his peers as well as adversaries as a clear thinking, honest and extremely skilled lawyer and I would highly recommend him to anyone.
