Alexander Potruch

During the hardest time in my life i was referred to Alex by a friend. Alex was nothing short of amazing since day 1 when i met him. He went over all of my options and went over everything that he has seen happen in all his years as a lawyer. I was truley amazed everytime i had to go to court that he... was 100% accurate in what he said was going to happen that day. When all was said and done i settled out of court and had custody of my children which was the most important thing to me. Alex was there for me all hours day and night. We all know how ugly a divorce can be. I would reccomend anyone going through a divorce to use Alex. The man is nothing short of amazing.

I could write a book based on the life lessons learned from Mr. Potruch, whose vast wealth of knowledge and experience (not to mention his kind and careful guidance) were instrumental in successfully establishing custodial rights for my child. Initially recommended by two prominent NYC-based attorney...s, Mr. Potruch went out of his way to set up time-sensitive initial consultation at his Garden City office. He immediately set about prepping for first Family Court appearance a week later. One soon learns that, like a chess master, this seasoned pro is constantly thinking several steps ahead. His attention to detail is second to none, navigating the passage through what is an undeniably stressful experience. Listening is key when working with Mr. Potruch, however he also hears all. Further, his hands-on experience in the Family Court provides exceptional clarity. In short, he knows who's-who and what's what. After an intense period of pre-trial preparation (included excellent EBT), Mr. Potruch was outstanding in the courtroom. Never bombastic or unnecessarily outspoken, he is clearly a most judicious speaker. In dealing with the judge (& second), Mr. Potruch was a total pro, direct and savvy, always perfect timing. He also excelled in interacting with opposing counsel - firm and straight to the point but never controversial. His cross-examination work was second to none. In short, Mr. Potruch kept to his word, provided a most satisfactory result, and has continued to be extremely supportive. Bottom line, this is an attorney who cares and delivers...worth every penny, as they say. Can't recommend highly enough...
