I have been in practice for 25 years and received numerous awards and citations for the legal services I have provided to my community. I have written two highly acclaimed books on family law and served as an on-air legal expert for a host of nationally syndicated television and radio shows. This review comes from an irrational former client who insisted that I proceed with a child custody trial and motions for pendente lite relief after it was determined by both a forensic psychiatrist and her children's court appointed legal counsel that she was neglecting her daughters by refusing to secure treatment for them, despite the fact that they suffered from serious emotional challenges resultant from years of observing their mother physically abuse their father. This woman was fully insured and could have easily afforded the medical care. The children's teachers also indicated that the woman often failed to feed her daughters, ages 6 and 8, before sending them to school. I never asked to be removed from the case because the matter was scheduled for trial. I have handled many trials over the course of my career and welcome litigation. I also possess a master's degree in trial advocacy. I asked to be removed because after the woman learned that the forensic psychiatrist and court appointed counsel intended to recommend that custody of the children be awarded to their father, she maliciously urinated in my conference room. There was nothing any lawyer could do to help this mentally deranged woman. I have never been disciplined for attorney misconduct, during the course of my 25 year career. Had even a fraction of this client's lies been true, she would have gone to the disciplinary board and filed a complaint against me, or sued for a refund of her retainer payment, instead of hiding behind the anonymity of an internet review.
