There are many estate lawyers but there are few that care. My experience with Mr. Rayes was beyond streamlined, but most importantly it was caring and professional. As a nurse I see people at there worst but when it's family, it's even harder. Yandy became a member of our family guiding us through th...e process, of estate planning, POA, Proxy etc. He did this as if he'd known us for years always keeping our family members best interests in the forefront and never allowing us to panic or worry as he "has it under control" and he does! Five stars are not enough! Office was professional, communication easy (even in off times) and his rates were far less than others. He gives 100%all the time, you never feel like a client, more like a friend. Best in the business.

I think I speak for everyone when it comes to getting a will done….there’s always tomorrow!!! Yes, there’s always tomorrow, but, this is an important document to take care of!!! And Yandy makes it easy!!! I couldn’t believe how easy it was…literally a free consultation and an appointment. Not even 2 ...hours collectively. And he was a pleasure to work with. I was looking for a lawyer to help me in setting up an Estate Account for my mother who passed away without a will. When I contacted Mr. Reyes he was very understanding and walk me thru the process step by step. Not only did he walked me thru it he explain each step until I understood why each step ...was required. It made the whole process very easy although it was time consuming. I who give him a 12 on a scale of 1 to 10. I would advise anyone who is looking for a good reliable lawyer, Mr. Reyes is a top notch lawyer. In addition he will work with you on his fee. .

Yandy Reyes stated he’s a trial lawyer, but thinks courts are open on Election Day. He says he’ll call you right back but doesn’t respond for a month. He thinks we have a court date on 11/2/21, and leaves preparation until 10/28/21, the Friday before. You, the client, has to call the court to find ou...t your actual court date has been moved from 12/2/21 to 1/6/22. The court tells you Yandy Reyes was notified of the change on 11/8/21. But, he doesn’t tell you until 11/30/21, two days before 12/2/21. This kind of thing is just one of the reasons you ask to be copied on correspondence related to your matter in a timely fashion. Yet, he refuses. He states he has email regarding your matter, but won’t forward it to you. Another reason is that it becomes clear to you that he is not representing your interests. He charged you a flat fee, and wants to resolve your matter quickly, to his satisfaction, not yours. He flouts the law (22 NYCRR §1210.1) as it pertains to his legal obligations to you, his client, disregarding the Statement of Client Rights.
