Mr.Gehi not only handled our case but also made it a success. The da, we first went to him, we were apprehensive and confused. We were looking for someone who not only handles the case well but also communicates with us to make us feel at ease. We saw Mr. Gehi's program on ITV and felt that we should... contact him for our case. The people of the firm are very attentive to the client. One always feels very special when you are in a problem. The appointments are made easily. There isnt any long wait and not just that, inspite of the firm being so busy, Mr.Gehi would even give time out of his working hours if we ever felt the need to see him. The time from my wife’s visa extension to my citizenship and finally getting my wife a green card, we were frustrated with the time taken, which seemed too long to us by the immigration but we never had any complaints from Mr. Gehi's firm. In fact, we always felt that they were better prepared than us. Finally, we are happy with the way things went and are very thankful for all their effort. I am sure that every client of theirs feels the same way. I would highly recommend him to people who want their work to be done by an efficient attorney.

I want to take this opportunity to infrom the public about the outstanding job Mr. Naresh Gehi's firm performed for us. I live 1400 miles from New York in Louisiana and I hired a well known immigration lawyer from my own state to handle my wife's application for permanent residency. Since I am a US c...itizen, I thought that it would be a formality. 6 Months passed without any progress being made. I saw Mr. Gehi's show on the ITV network where he provided a great deal of useful information on the immigration process. I was wary at first since I did not live in New York and was concerned if he could handle my case from such a long distance. But when I called, he immediately put me at ease with his pleasant demeanor and knowledge of the process. He gave me a clear concise list of papers that I needed to provide which I mailed to his office. He gave me estimates of how long it would take for the application to be accepted. Every time parameter that he gave was accurate. He said it would take 3 months to get a work permit, 3 months after that for our interview and 3 months after that to the green card. His predictions were correct nearly to the day. We recently received the green card for my wife and are thankful to Mr. Gehi and his very pleasant staff.

I hired Gehi & Associates to sponsor my parents as they have a complicated US immigration history. At the initial consult, the consulting attorney assured me it was possible to sponsor them and that the work would begin immediately after I paid the first deposit and signed the retainer agreement, whi...le I agreed to pay monthly installments until the entire retainer was paid up. Over the next 3 months, they had numerous delays, prepared the wrong forms, and used offshore, unqualified resources to deliver legal advice. After 3 months, I decided to stop making any further until at least the initial application was filed. At that point, they said I was being unreasonable and uncooperative and terminated the attorney-client relationship, and refused to refund my fees even though I gained nothing by hiring them. Luckily I have a close friend who is a lawyer and he will be guiding me on how to get my retainer back through the court system as it is clear I did not receive any benefit from engaging them with a fixed fee agreement. I will say the attorney's definitely sounded like they knew what they were doing, but I expect they just did not have the capacity to meet the commitments they made. 3 months to file the petition is ridiculous as most lawyers get it done in a couple of weeks as they initially agreed.

I wish I could give them negative stars!!! Extremely horrible and unprofessional bunch of people. We paid them from our immigration case and for 1 month no one contacted us even for our documents!!! when we reached out to them....no one had any clue about the case. Upon requesting a refund, there was... no response for months and finally they came back saying they will only give us back less than 50%. funny thing is when asked why they were deducting 5-60% the and proof of any work they did...all the office manager could tell us was 1 paralegal made 1 phone call to find out what the procedure was with NVC (I don't belive they did that either). so 1 paralegal phone call cost me about $1800. I thought you pay lawyers because you think they know the procedures of law!!! I am filing a complaint with BBB, NY BAR, and consumer protection court.
