This review is from a person who hired this attorney.

You will never see him coming !!! Semper Fi, John !!!

I hired John for a landlord tenant dispute, he got what we needed and the landlord stop abusing me. Then, I hired him for bankruptcy on a family member and he was A-Ok, right on point at all times and it was solved positively. At the same time, because another lawsuit was pending on NYS Supreme Court..., he tried the case and did not charge additionally and case was dismissed. So, all in all, three (3) is the winning number. I recommend John with my eyes closed. Tip: Follow his advice, he is the underdog, and usually you never see him coming, so wait for the upset with him. He is slow and lethal against his adversaries and I loved that.-

Horrible Experience With This Lawyer

I hired John Castro to be my attorney for two real estate closings which he agreed to do for a flat fee $600.00 each. I was never provided with any documents properly explaining the scope of his representation or his attorneys fees. In the middle of the transaction, I decided not to move forward with... his representation. Mr. Castro was extremely upset about losing me as a client and vowed revenge. At the time that I terminated Mr. Castro, I offered him $600.00 as fair compensation for legal work performed. Mr. Castro declined my $600.00 offer. A few months later, I received a bill from his firm that over two times in excess of our original agreement. He completely changed the numbers and now wants to charge me at rates, which were never discussed or agreed to. I was also threatened with lawsuits and liens on my property in the event I failed to pay the total sum demanded. Now I had to hire another lawyer to defend this matter. I also had to spend a lot of money out of pocket on the fee-dispute defense.
