Terri Beth Kalker

Terri is really the best traffic court attorney in NYC. I had a cellphone ticket( 5 points) and an improper turn (2 points) dismissed. She knows the ins and out of the courts and really has success. I pity the officer during his cross examination of Terri. Tried many attorneys before someone recom...mended her. Would not go anywhere else. She also happens to be a really nice person and her prices are really fair.

I was given 8 ticket unjustly with 22 point astake on my drivers license. When I contacted Terri B. Killer office , they treated me with respect and took time to listen to my story . They carried me along through the process and guiding me. When I moved out of New York , they kept me update and went ...to court and defended the 8 ticked with not guilty result . This is the best lawyer I have ever worked with . Very understanding, treat you with respect and meet you where you are. Terri thanks so much for being such a kind hearted human being . I received a Traffic violation for passing a school bus while it's lights were flashing. My defense was simple. A fire truck was coming, and the School Bus Driver waved me to pass him. (Why he did not turn his lights off, is beyond me.) 15 seconds later a nasty cop pulled me over. I explained... to the officer that the bus driver waived me through due to the fire truck. The officer did not care one bit. Terri Keller was amazing!!! She handled everything for me professionally. Her office was understanding and easy to deal with. Needless to say, Terri was able to prove my defense, and through her thorough understanding of my case, the law, and the Traffic Court Judicial system, Terri Keller had my ticket totally dismissed. I highly recommend Terri Keller for any Traffic Vioaltion. Terri knows the laws well, and is very professional. Not to mention a very kind-hearted person, which you need to have after experiencing a "Pull-Over." I can not possibly thank Terri enough. I highly recommend her. Jay.

Don't waste your time. I have been working with them since last summer. This office is a revolving door of trying to get paying people in the DMV office in Coney Island. They know all these cops for yearrrrrrssss. They have a good game going on with the cops themselves. It is very clear at this poin...t. They handle 83274873 of cases she doesn't even pay attention to why you even hired them in the first place. May buy you a year to delay (because this is what they do with the cops) but don't take the time to even ask what happened and be clear on what they will be sharing to the judge.

Hired this lawyer on a referral from a NYC borough based car service company. Rest assure, her fee is to be paid 1st & up front, yet there's "never a guarantee" of acquittal as she/her staff clearly states. Ms. Kalker is very difficult to request and speak with for Q & A and/or updates. And forget ca...lling her office... her secretary (Shirley) is extremely difficult to deal with... rude, very argumentative and getting information from her regarding your case is like trying to get the devil to sell air conditioners poolside! Adjournments up the ying yang! It's gotta be the right judge, the correct day, the right wind speed... and God forbid your court appearance(s) fall in, on or around a Jewish holiday... Ms. Kalker makes many trips out of the country for these religious observances and uses substitute "stand-in" attorneys who don't know vehicle traffic laws from a cracker jack surprise toy. 1st ticket was reduced 2 points, yet still guilty. 2nd ticket, she went out of area for a religious observance and this unknown attorney who took her place the day of my trial, shook my hand and was about as useful as a sheet of used toilet paper. Guilty with no reductions. Thanks for nothing, Mr. Clueless substitute attorney. As a result, she suggested setting up a "pay-off" involving her and/or someone from NYC who "oversees" these tickets. She was a stones throw away from having the Brooklyn DA question her and her business practices after I made formal inquiry through the DA regarding this "pay-off." Final (3rd) ticket she gets lucky because the officer "knew" her and gave her (me) a "break." A break!?! What about all the vehicle traffic laws and other textbook law material she's supposed to be using in lieu of "knowing someone?" Bottom line? After using several attorneys over the years for various necessities, Ms. Kalker is nothing to write home about, nor is (in my opinion) trustworthy enough for my referral.
