It seems like it is his common practice to pocket additional money from the escrow account without giving any advance notice. He refused to provide a closing statement prior to the closing even though we have asked for many times. Well, it turns out that he decided to give himself another couple hund...reds dollars for "additional" work that he claimed he has done, so not true.This additional fee is at his total discretion. Bait and switch, he asked for full payment in advance, my mistake, then your calls will pretty much get unanswered, unprofessional and dishonest attorney, would never recommend.

Closed a house several years ago. When it came for the final payment, he requested additional money because the closing took a bit longer than usual. It took a bit longer because I was shopping around for another mortgage lender. Both lawyers, including this lawyer said I couldn’t do it. Long story s...hort I reread the contract and they were all wrong. We kept him because we felt like we were too far into the deal. He should’ve paid me for interpreting the contract.

Stated that he was only going to charge x amount for a service. Despite giving him MORE than he asked for service charge on good faith, he still ended up trying to shave off from the funds that were coming out of the escrow account. The value was at his discretion. Had he not done that, we would've... considered referring him to friends and family. But not anymore. Don't take advantage of your clients if you want to grow a business.
