Attorney Michael Mullen founded The Law Offices of Michael Mullen in 2006 in order to obtain justice for individuals facing criminal charges. Before opening his firm, he served as an assistant district attorney in NY. This experience has provided him with ample trial experience and knowledge about the prosecution process. He has prosecuted hundreds of cases involving all types of criminal charges. In doing so, he understands the methods and tactics that prosecutors use and can use that experience to build his defense accordingly. In 2005, Attorney Mullen stepped down from the position of assistant district attorney due to his passion of expanding his litigation and trial skills. He then opened his own criminal defense firm in 2006 and has been defending falsely accused or defenseless individuals in their criminal cases. He has experience handling cases involving murder, fraud, DWI, assault, theft, RICO violations and many other types of crimes. Attorney Mullen has tried over 50 cases to verdict while reaching many victories for his clients. His goal is to ensure that the prosecutor meets the burden of proof and also build a strong case against the prosecutor. To do so, he challenges evidence and negotiates on behalf of his clients. He has handled many cases covered by the media, such as the New York Post, the New York Daily News and .
