in January of this year, my family hired Atty, C. Husbands for a holdover case and we learned first hand his poor work ethic and performance. In the many times we called his office and Mr. Husbands' was not available, his receptionist NEVER offered to contact the attorney by cellphone. So, most of o...ur calls went unreturned. In the instances when we did speak to Mr. Husbands, we experienced listening to an attorney who was not forthconing with details, was easily irritated by questions and became argumentative when told he was speaking in a loud antagonizing tone. In short, he is unprofessional and belligerent. Needless to say, the case was settled in our favor with the tenant needing to leave by 5/31 or face a Marshall's eviction. It is now two weeks later and the tenant has not moved nor been evicted. That's because today we learned the marshall's office never received the attorney's paperwork to serve notice to the tenant. Total imcompetence. Do not use this attorney, avoid the headache.
