This lawyer did a closing for my family. He was late to the closing, which mattered because the buyer's lawyer was quite aggressive. Kelly kept asking me at closing if certain things were done, had we EVER had a meeting he would have known the answers. I have many lawyers in closings, sales, comme...rcial deals.etc... This lawyer is going to do the bare essentials and will not protect your interests beyond that. He actually prepared a power of attorney for me and did NOT check the widest possible scope provided. It was a matter of checking a box&for that I was charged. He is in the bottom 5% of lawyers I have retained. That is not to say he is not knowledgeable, but he is not going to work hard for you at all. He's not going to uncover any tiny clause that may hurt you later, or force you to do more later. Would never tell anyone to use his services.
