USCIS can check that for you when you submit documents. But you can try filing FOIA, yes.

Your brother should consult with an Immigration attorney. TPS protects from deportation, he should renew it.

If she does not have "permanent residency" in Georgia, probably not, unless US consulate in Georgia agrees to take her case.

Only if a company sponsors you, there is no "automatic" green card after E2.

If you maintained lawful status before you filed I 485 and did not use your EAD, you should be able to file for the extension.
