Represent parties regarding real estate transactions and closings
23 years, 15 cases
I am a New York native. Â I spent much of my youth growing up in the mid-Hudson Valley and have lived in all 5 boroughs (including Staten Island) and outlying counties as well.Â
Â
Before becoming an attorney, I was a bankruptcy paralegal for several years and put myself through law school in the evening while working full-time. After law school, I was a law clerk for the Chief Judge of the Manhattan bankruptcy court for 2 years.Â
Â
After my clerkship, I practiced bankruptcy law at two New York law firms with nationally renowned bankruptcy practices for nearly 10 years. My overall experience has enabled me to learn how law is made from various viewpoints.Â
Â
I have appeared before all of the metropolitan New York bankruptcy courts (as well as others throughout the country) and am familiar with New York bankruptcy practice.
Â
Currently, I have my own practice primarily representing debtors and creditors in bankruptcy proceedings.

Bankruptcy and debt Attorney | Nov 19
Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community
"I endorse this lawyer. His willingness to contribute to the AVVO community along with the substance of those contributions displays an attorney that is ready, willing and able to zealously advocate for his clients. I wouldn't think twice about referring a potential client to Mr. Vassallo."
Chapter 11 bankruptcy Attorney | Jun 18
Relationship: Opposing Counsel on matter
"I endorse this lawyer. Anthony and I worked on a chapter 11 case together where he represented the debtors and my firm was representing the creditors committee. Anthony was always a pleasure to deal with. In a case where there was a high level of animosity between our clients, Anthony made the process better by being responsive to requests, courteous to our clients' and respectful of their interests. Anthony is an excellent advocate and a respectful adversary. I recommend Anthony."
