Great lawyers

Great lawyers. They rescued my case from 2018 after having terrible experience with 2 prior lawyers. They worked hard to set up my workers’ compensation case and after a year I finally received the medical treatment I desperately needed. They also eliminated all medical liens from 60,000 to 0. Got me... property damage damage money. They even recommended someone who successfully got me my citizenship. I can’t recommend them enough. They are honest, professional, transparent, and caring. They changed my life for the better.

Great by all means

Ramy is absolutely great. Very responsive anytime of the day even weekends. Ramy went out of his way many times to ensure the best outcome of the case. He also fought very hard with several agencies regarding some matter that was not anticipated for to make us satisfied. In addition, he is helpin...g us with immigration applications and will be following up until it is completed. With all honestly he is very caring and take the case from beginning to end.

Best I have Ever worked with

One of the best in his field. Excellent communication, passion, and diligent representation. My family was granted the right to immigrate to the U.S. from war-torn Syria. My sister who was in high school at the time was banned due to the Muslim ban. She was there alone and we were very worried about ...her. At her interview, they asked her to present a waiver application within 24 hours. It was very stressful for us as we didn’t know if we can do that in matter of hours. We were referred to attorney Ramy Aqel. We called him at 6:00pm and within a few hours the completed waiver was emailed to us. We forwarded it to my sister who took the paperwork with her to the second interview the next day. Thankfully, within a few weeks, her petition was approved and she will be able to reunite with us where she can be safe and sound. We are very thankful for his passionate and diligent representation.

A unique and challenging case

After scrupulously consulting several other attorneys, I retained and entrusted Ramy Aqel to resolve a challenging (and pressing) criminal legal matter that was impeding immigration proceedings for my wife. Ramy was initially very pragmatic regarding the case, as were the other attorneys I consulted,... but after diving more deeply into the details, Ramy expressed genuine empathy and an openness to the possibility of achieving a desired outcome that was against the odds—important qualities that were lacking with the other attorneys. The case was multifaceted and required an attorney that was able to navigate the complexities of a case that intertwined both criminal law and immigration law. After our initial consultation, I felt well-informed regarding the process and confident regarding Ramy’s willingness and ability to overcome the legal obstacles. The primary obstacle was convincing the judge the case had merits to justify an exception to the statute requiring the defendant to appear in person to resolve an active warrant. We reside in South Dakota. More problematic, however, my wife suffers from a post-traumatic psychological disorder as a result of being a victim of human sex trafficking when she resided in New York City. Returning to New York City would have risked triggering a harmful post-traumatic episode. Ramy collaborated closely with me to develop my wife’s case and he argued her case successfully. The judge characterized the case as “unusual and exceptional” and subsequently ruled to allow Ramy to appear on my wife’s behalf. I understand exceptions to this statute are rare. The cost to retain Ramy to litigate this difficult case was very fair, but the outcome was priceless. In addition to beating the odds to resolve the active warrant, Ramy expeditiously negotiated favorable terms with the District Attorney, appeared twice more before two judges, and ultimately got the charges dismissed on an extremely short timetable. I am a person who normally does not sacrifice the time to provide unsolicited reviews for services I receive, but in a case such as this, when the service received is truly exceptional, I am happy to do so knowing others will benefit. My wife and I feel very grateful--and very fortunate.
