An attorney that is on a squatter side.

You have a squatter ( your tenant) , now you have two , Tom Pruzan( your attorney . After hiring him , you will hate him more than your tenant who is not paying rent . His conversation starts by bragging about 40 years of experience, and his business he inherited from father and grand father( he sh...amed them ). I hired him without googling him because I was given his number by my accountant ( off course he doesn’t know his work, he thought he does good until I showed him Tom’s reviews ) . I paid $1000 , after almost two months , he sent my tenants a letter of 2 months notice( he could have done it the next day I paid him) . If you are thinking bling to hire him after ridding this , then you deserve to be scammed by him. I gave one star because the sight won’t let me give 0. Good luck with your case .

AWFUL!!!!!

I couldn't stress enough but to STAY AWAY. As if the law isn't awful enough in New York for Landlords Tom will be your way to losing even more time and money. I never take the time to write reviews but I found it a necessity in this time. For weeks I would wait for a call from him to never get one. T...hen once he eventually calls, he doesn't even know what is going on. To say how much of a horrendous experience it has been is an understatement. Truly the absolute worst attorney I know. The time table of evictions in New York is awful from the start and with Tom, you lose even more time. There were instances of him asking what should we do when he's the licensed attorney. To all you other landlords out there seeking evictions of problematic tenants, I warn you to STAY AWAY from this practice.

receptionist is the real attorney

unfortunately Mr Tom Pruzan cannot follow through with his promises and cares less with updating you on anything regarding your case ! His receptionist is the real attorney and probably has more knowledge! he informs you that he will call you back and lies about sending you paperwork which is extrem...ely unprofessional! maybe his thoughts are scattered like his environment where he works daily !!!!

Horrible Lawyer

Please Never Use this Lawer. He had my case for two years. The court said he never filed the case. He doesn’t return calls. My case was never completed and said the case has been backed up since Covid-19. This has been 2 years. Case have been going on since June 2021 and it’s May 2022 he uses exc...uses after excuses. I am writing the bar Association.

This comment is totally false. Problems were not with attorney but with client. Had one of the best, most experienced, and most knowledgeable attorneys in court that could of settled case most favorable to client, but client wanted the impossible. Case was adjourned and I was discharged by client. All my 37 years of practice, never had a complaint as client described. My thousands of clients all raved about my service and recommended me to others.
