grateful for Tricia's help

I reached out to Tricia Kakalec for legal help twice: once when I started a new job and saw scary stuff in the employment contract, which I didn't fully understand, and again when my employer let me go and offered a small severance agreement if I'd sign a new contract. I was nervous about spending... money for legal help because it's not cheap, especially the second time when I was let go and didn't have regular income anymore. But it was an investment, and I'm glad that I got professional help. And I'm glad that a friend recommended Tricia. Tricia helped explain the contract and the potential implications in a way that was easy to understand, so that I could make an informed decision that was right for me and my family. There were terrible clauses in the contract that would have affected my family, if not for Tricia's help. There were implications that I didn't even realize were possible. Tricia proposed specific changes that protected me from the abusive parts of the contract. I was glad for Tricia's help. And when that employer laid me off at the start of the pandemic, I was even more grateful that I wasn't locked into the original terms of the contract. For example, there were terms that could have required me to work for my former employer for free in specific cases. I can't believe that that sort of thing is legal. When I was laid off, Tricia helped me understand the terms of the severance contract, so that I could make a smart decision about whether to take the severance offer. So if you've recently started a new job or lost one, and you have a contract to sign, I highly recommend that you contact Tricia Kakalec before you agree to anything. Tricia will explain everything and help you avoid pitfalls that you might not see. Ultimately, Tricia is deeply insightful, kind, and she'll help protect you. I'm so glad that I found Tricia!
