Jigar S. Parikh

The Law Office of Jigar Parikh specializes in immigration and naturalization law, serving clients’ legal needs across the country for over 20 years. Based in New York City, the firm represents companies and individuals in a range of immigration matters, including employment and family-based legal services and assisting clients on the path to citizenship.
On the business side, Jigar serves employers and employees in various industries, but is particularly familiar with clients in finance, technology, healthcare, education, and hospitality. He also represents individuals and families in gaining temporary or permanent residency as well as United States citizenship. He has appeared at immigration interviews across the country on behalf of his clients and is considered a noted authority in immigration law. Jigar presents workshops to colleges, businesses and community organizations on pressing topics in immigration and has also been featured on PBS news programs.

Jigar earned his J.D. from Fordham Law School, one of New York’s leading law schools, and his B.A. from Brandeis University. Outside of the firm, he is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and an avid runner, who recently participated in the 2018 NYC Marathon. He is also a fan of jazz standards and has published reviews in local newspapers and the Carnegie Hall website. Jigar lives in Brooklyn, New York with his son and wife, a Canadian who he met one week after she received her green card.
