Biography
Darran Winslow is an attorney specializing in criminal defense based in Brooklyn, NY. He also handles landlord/tenant matters. Darran has over fifteen years of experience practicing law and is admitted to the New York, Kentucky, and Ohio State Bars.
Darran earned his B.S. in Business Management from Washington and Lee University. He received his J.D. summa cum laude in 2001 from Northern Kentucky University's Salmon P. Chase School of Law, where he served on the Law Review and the Moot Court Board.
Following his graduation from law school, Darran clerked for Senior Judge William O. Bertelsman, Federal District Judge for the Eastern District of Kentucky. He then went on to work for Graydon Head & Ritchey in Cincinnati, Ohio as an associate in their commercial litigation department. In 2003, he joined Lynch, Cox, Gilman & Goodman, P.S.C. in Louisville, Kentucky, where he developed his own practice, focusing on criminal defense, representation of independently-owned businesses, and liquor license law.
In 2011, Darran moved to New York City and began building a new extension of his practice. After working as a prosecutor in the Brooklyn District Attorney's Office, Darran returned to criminal defense and quickly established a thriving practice.
Originally a Louisville, Kentucky native, Darran is proud to call Brooklyn his home.

Great Attorney
He was hired as my husbands defense attorney and he stayed consistent with checking on his progress as his case progressed. Great Lawyer!
Got picked up for a bar fight ( assault 3 ) and Darran came through for me at 11:30 PM on a Saturday night. I was out with no bail, and no fines with in 30 minutes of his arrival to the courts. I'm going to be using him the for the up coming hearings on my case. I highly recommend him.
