Denise Buda

Denise Buda is a senior associate in the medical malpractice defense department at Abrams, Fensterman, Fensterman, Eisman, Greenberg, Formato & Einiger, LLP.

Ms. Buda has 18 years experience defending physicians and other health care providers in a wide range of litigation matters. She is responsible for conducting hearings on behalf of health care professionals in professional misconduct, license restoration, and moral character proceedings before the New York State Education Department, Office of Professional Discipline; preparing appellate briefs and arguing appeals challenging physician license revocations; and defending civil and malpractice lawsuits, from pleadings through appeal. Ms. Buda also has extensive experience in general appellate practice, complex matrimonial matters, and in general negligence, commercial, product liability and real estate litigation.

Ms. Buda received her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School where she was a Dean's Merit Scholar and her B.A. from the City University of New York at Queens College, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She is a member of the New York and New Jersey bars. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Buda worked as a Speech Pathologist and taught alternate communication skills at the Helen Keller National Center for Deaf-Blind Youths and Adults.
