Nicole Greenwald is a seasoned family law attorney and a passionate advocate, who has successfully
managed her own practice in New City, NY, since January 2004. With over two decades of experience,
she specializes in a wide range of family law matters, offering expert legal counsel in custody and
visitation disputes, neglect and removal cases, child support and willfulness issues, expungements,
family offenses, and uncontested divorces. Her practice is built on a deep commitment to guiding clients
through challenging family-related legal issues with compassion, professionalism, and a focus on
achieving fair and lasting outcomes.

In addition to family law, Nicole serves as an Attorney for the Child, representing children in cases
involving Juvenile Delinquency/PINS (Persons in Need of Supervision), custody and visitation,
neglect/abuse, Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS), and family offenses. She also practices as a
Guardian Ad Litem, appointed by the Surrogate’s Court to protect the interests of incapacitated wards.
Her commitment to prioritizing children’s well-being led her to develop a practice in Parenting
Coordination, where she works directly with high conflict parents to reduce tension by keeping children
out of the disputes. By helping parents implement effective parenting plans and resolve conflicts in a
collaborative manner, her goal is always to foster healthy, meaningful relationships between parents and their children. Her practice is driven by the belief that minimizing conflict and protecting children's
emotional and mental health should be the ultimate focus in any family law matter. In this capacity, she
actively monitors compliance and works closely with parents to facilitate positive outcomes.
Before transitioning to family law, Nicole began her legal career in insurance defense, specializing in
governmental tort liability. This foundation in litigation has given her a strong skill set in handling
complex legal matters.

Nicole Greenwald earned her Juris Doctor from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, CA, in May 1994, where
she graduated in the top 30% of the class, was named to the Dean’s List (1993-1994), and received
AmJur Awards. Prior to law school, she completed a Bachelor of Arts in Health Care Management from
Stern College – Yeshiva University, New York, NY, graduating Cum Laude in May 1990 and making the
Dean's List from 1987 to 1990.
