Koplen is dishonest. He attempted to represent me and the corporation. When the court sanctioned him, he told me he would find an attorney in name only to represent me. He is sloppy and lazy with filling paperwork. He literally types in your information at $500 an hour. NO a assistant. Went on vacati...
This particular former client has now left two reviews under two separate names, "Bruce" and "Benjamin". He was our client for only a few weeks. First of all, we were never sanctioned by any court. That is a falsehood. Secondly, I am sorry he was not satisfied with our legal services. In the meantime, we have represented thousands of satisfied clients over the years and were just named to NY Metro Super-lawyers for the fifth year in a row.

Took thousands $$$ from me back in ‘04, then walked off my case because I needed to continue paying him in installments, as I simply didn’t have that much cash left on hand. He knew I was good for every penny but preferred to leave me holding a very heavy bag rather than doing the right thing by help...
We barely remember this guy. We handled his divorce almost 20 years ago...in the middle of the process he stopped paying legal fees. He ended up racking up a pretty sizable fee. Eventually, we asked the Court to be relieved as counsel since this guy was flat out refusing to pay us and expected us to keep working for him. Sorry he is so resentful, but he should not have expected our office to work for him like we were his unpaid servants.

He literally forwarded me inquiries for the IDI a and 341 meetings hours before the IDI meeting and 1 1/2 days before the 341. Totally incompetent. He had the request for a MONTH. And we ...

Mr. Koplen was a great help to us at at time of financial distress. Our business had failed and we had personally guaranteed a lot of debt, and we were being sued left and right. Very stressful! We were recommended to Mr. Koplen by our family attorney. He said Koplen is the best in the bankruptcy...

Thank you a million times! He guided me and made such a stressful time become a little more manageable. His professionalism, knowledge and experience are above all. Mr. Koplen will fight for your rights and your money as he did with me. He's the real deal. After what he did for my case he is deservin...
"I endorse this lawyer. Michael is a smart and tough negotiator and courtroom lawyer. He served as opposing counsel on a challenging custody case against me in 2012 and demonstrated a very high level of skill and a solid knowledge of the law. He is ethical, intelligent and tenacious as an adversary but always courteous. I would recommend him to anyone seeking a skilled attorney."
