Best Attorney to ever exist!

Sheri helped me purchase my first home at 21 and made sure that no one can take advantage of me being young. She is a true advocate for her clients. Her communication, expertise, and dedication are unmatched. I would definitely recommend her to anyone!

Look no further!

I cannot recommend Sheri Padernacht highly enough! From start to finish, she made the entire process of selling my mother’s home seamless and stress-free. Sheri demonstrated exceptional professionalism, knowledge, and attention to detail, ensuring every aspect of the transaction was handled with care.... She was always available to answer my questions, explain complex legal terms, and provide sound advice, making me feel confident and supported every step of the way. Thanks to Sheri, what could have been a complicated and overwhelming experience turned out to be smooth and straightforward. If you’re looking for a skilled and compassionate real estate attorney, look no further!

Unprofessional and insulting

At the recommendation of my realtor, I hired Sheri last spring. A friend asked me today if I could recommend a lawyer and it all came back to me. I told him about the degrading experience and he suggested that I post a review. Good idea. When I hired Sheri over the phone she was very nice. On ...the day of the closing she was very nice. Everything in between was a disaster. I would call her with questions and my calls would go unanswered. She doesn't have a secretary. When she would speak to me, she would be insulting, talk down to me and would not explain processes to me. She was always too busy and acted as though I was a burden. When you hire an attorney for such a large transaction, they should be available to answer questions and let you know what is next and what to expect. I did not expect her to be available 24-7, but to answer the occasional phone call and not to be rude and insulting. We closed and everything eventually was fine, but the process was awful and I know that this is not the way an attorney should behave. If she can't afford a paralegal, maybe she should find another line of work. Do not use. Terrible experience.

October 5, 2018 Closing Problems

I hired a realtor to sell my house and he suggested I use Sheri Padernacht as my attorney. She prepared the contracts and I signed them. A closing was scheduled for October 5, 2018 the first problem was she arrived after 11:00 the appointment time, she complained from the time of her arrival about ...how she had plans to go to West Point and was in a rush. She was being paid for her presence and legal expertise, I felt like a nuisance. Stewart Title was 1.5 hours late, which she became even more annoyed that she had to leave for West Point. When I questioned the closing statement sent to me by Sheri regarding the missing outstanding equity loan she said she would call the buyers attorney. I do not recall any call back regarding what should be done. And nothing was done! Sheri was also, extremely rude to the Stewart Title Representative because she was in a rush to leave. The final blow was the escrow check given to me from Sheri's account was drawn on a closed account. Very disappointing representation.

Relationship: Worked together on matter

"I endorse this lawyer. I have been practicing law for almost 50 years. Most of my practice is litigation, comml. I rarely do transactional law. When I had to sell my property, I needed someone who could do the job efficiently, professionally, and competently. Someone recommended Sheri. She fit all three bills. I would not hesitate one iota in recommending Sheri if you, or your client, requires a real estate attorney. She gets a 9 out of 10 [only Bo Derek gets a 10.]"
