We had a wonderful experience updating our estate plans, working with Michael Shilinski. He helped us complete this process in a timely manner, with professionalism and warmth. We made some changes and he provided the perfect balance of "big picture thinking" and being detail oriented. Always, the f...ocus was on serving our needs and providing us the peace of mind that these important documents would cover what we needed to cover. He goes the extra mile, asked us to consider things that we wouldn't have thought of without his expertise, and was a pleasure to work with. Highest recommendation!

I hired Michael for working out my estate plan: Will, Health Care Proxy, Living Will, and Power of Attorney for finances. I am very pleased with the job he did, both with advising me and preparing the documents. This included giving my executor and Power of Attorney agent proper legal access to my di...gital assets, which is apparently still considered to be a new thing in the legal world. He charged a reasonable flat fee for his service. I would expect to hire him again for revisions to my estate plan in the future.

My husband and I hired Michael to prepare a comprehensive estate plan (our first). What I appreciated most about Michael was his ability to engage with the pertinent legal issues at a high level, but also to explain them in a way that was accessible. I am an attorney by training, but my husband is no...t, and we both found Michael to be clear, engaged and thoughtful throughout the process. Michael also has a warm and low-key manner that helped us deal with the unpleasantness of estate planning. I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a great trusts and estates lawyer.

Some might find the title of my review to be an oxymoron, but after finding Micheal Shinski, I can attest it is not! My husband and I just completed working with Michael on our Estate Documents. Michael helped us to not only understand what we were doing, and the decisions we were making, but also di...d it in a way that was both helpful and relaxed. Since this is not easy topic, it was very nice to work with somebody who is low pressure, very knowledgeable, and extremely helpful at every turn. Michael was interested in our ideas, and figured out exactly how to word changes we were requesting to make. His goal was to make sure the documents were 100% accurate in describing our wishes. Estate Planning can be a sensitive topic and this is NOT the type of lawyer that you want to be pushy or argumentative, so we were relieved and happy to find Michael and have already recommended him to our sisters and friends!
