After I received a ticket, I researched who to hire and the reviews for Mr. Dee were wonderful. I was very nervous because I'd never used an attorney before, but he returned my anxious phone call, spent time with me on the phone and calmed me and was very clear and straightforward about what would ha...ppen. All I had to do was notarize something and pay and they appeared for me (I never had to show up in person, which is good because I was states away) and it went from 4 potential points down to 0. Truthfully, Harold Dee Jr. is the best lawyer. I had been referred to his office by a previous lawyer I had contacted because they were honest (which I greatly appreciate) and said the specific court I needed to go to they didn't know well enough. They said Harold Dee knows this court and is there co...nstantly so it would be better going with him. So I did and I couldn't believe what an amazing decision that turned out to be. It was my first ever violation of the law and it was an 8 point speeding ticket. When I initially called, I broke down and cried to him. I was so scared of the consequences of my ticket. My parents insurance would go up so much, another violation and I would get my license taken away, all the fees associated with an 8 point ticket. However, despite my situation Harold Dee Jr. calmed me down and told me not to worry. He was so rational and explained to me what he could do to help me out. I appreciate honesty and he said it was a tough ticket but because my case was unique in the fact that it was my first ever offense, it might work in my favor. He made me hopeful and not stress so much over it especially since I'm only 19 and currently studying and working for my bachelors in Veterinary Technology. I didn't need anything else on my mind besides school. Results: He was able to get it down to no points. I was amazed. I honestly was expecting maybe 2 or 3 points because of how bad it was (I was doing 86 in a 55). I was so shocked when he called me yesterday and told me the results of my court case, I began to cry with joy. He was happy for me as well and is still helping me out! I have to take a course in defensive driving and don't know of any in my area since I'm only here for school. He said he would find out where I could go to do that and call me back when he has more information on it. How amazing is that! Him and his staff are just so incredible, I was so grateful I found them. They are extremely helpful and so kind I couldn't have gotten luckier.

Harold Dee charged me $750 for representation for a speeding ticket in the bronx. After the court date I heard nothing, and received no replies to my email. Not unsurprisingly I received the full penalty from NY State shortly after. While success isnt guaranteed, being ignored makes me feel ripped... off. I am left to the opinion that is that Harold Dee is an overpriced, uncommunicative, waste of time.
