Professional and Helpful
Harold Dee called me back quickly when I contacted his office. He took all the information and gave me my options. He didn't pressure me like some other attorneys I called did. He was truthful on what could be done, what it would likely cost, what would happen if I didn't hire someone to help me. I...

No stress, super easy, great results
After I received a ticket, I researched who to hire and the reviews for Mr. Dee were wonderful. I was very nervous because I'd never used an attorney before, but he returned my anxious phone call, spent time with me on the phone and calmed me and was very clear and straightforward about what would ha...

He works miracles!
Truthfully, Harold Dee Jr. is the best lawyer. I had been referred to his office by a previous lawyer I had contacted because they were honest (which I greatly appreciate) and said the specific court I needed to go to they didn't know well enough. They said Harold Dee knows this court and is there co...

Not worth the money
Harold Dee charged me $750 for representation for a speeding ticket in the bronx. After the court date I heard nothing, and received no replies to my email. Not unsurprisingly I received the full penalty from NY State shortly after. While success isnt guaranteed, being ignored makes me feel ripped...
Sadly, this is the first negative review in 39 years of practice. This client, initials HB, retained us at the last minute for an excessive speed in NYC. Motorist charged with doing 82 in a 50 mph zone, the maximum speed in the City of New York. We were retained after the ticket was bonded, meaning that the motorist had exhausted all his adjournments and came to us after the case was bonded and scheduled for trial. We had one chance with an experienced highway cop. Client was found guilty, however, we succeeded in reducing the "8" point speed (31- 40 mph over limit) to a "6" point speed. Client convicted of 80 mph in a 50 mph zone thus saving the motorist $150 NYS driver assessment fee. As with all prospective clients he was made aware of the difficulties in winning against an experienced highway officer. To say that he was "ripped off" is unfair! A dozen positive reviews follow.

"I endorse this lawyer. I have worked on a number of cases with Mr. Dee. He is extremely knowledgeable on the operation of the breathalyzer instruments, excellent at attacking their weaknesses and is a very capable cross-examiner, capable of revealing mistakes of fact or law put forward by prosecution witnesses."
"I have known Harold for nearly a decade. When I was a prosecutor in the District Attorneys office in Westchester County we were adversaries. I always knew when Harold the defense attorney if there was any weakness in the case he would find it and he often did. When I left to open up my own practice I stayed in touch with Harold and have seen on the defense side, just how effective and hard working he is. I recommend Harold without any hesitation as an outstanding advocate."
