Hard working lawyer

Broken promises and unmet expectations
I hired Michael as a special ED lawyer, to represent my child case, but unfortunately he did not met my expectations. There was a big lack of getting to know the case and he was very concerned about collecting checks only. He is not a self starter, instead of going through the IEPs to build a case, h...
Unfortunately this was a client who refused to communicate or provide documents in a timely manner if at all and when told what her responsibilities to provide information were claimed I should have received the documents from the school district and did not understand it was her obligation to provide them to me not the school district's. She also refused to have the necessary patience to understand that getting the services she want would take time and not happen instantly. I also was flexible in allowing her to pay over a longer period then typical clients so saying I was only concerned about checks is simply not true. Parent expected she could do nothing to help advance her child's case and consistently asked me to do things that were not proper or appropriate.
"Michael is truly committed to helping people in the realm of education law, particularly as it applies to those with special needs. This is a highly-specific area of the law, and to know that there is someone with the passion to pursue this area is comforting, as well as the fact that he is a member of this small-and-knowledgeable community."
