She was court appointed Parent Coordinator. From the beginning, I doubted her impartiality and once she was no longer the PC, I learned she was friends with my ex's attorney. She never disclosed this to me. The judge said that she hoped things would be better between me and my ex after Michele wasn...'t involved.

Very unprofessional and terrible billing practices. Unresponsive to several request regarding a custody matter and she wasn’t good at reading emails. I would have to reexplain everything after sending her emails. Very ineffectient and costly. I saw another review on different site that said the same... thing.

I hired Mrs Bermel after a very bad experience with another lawyer. Mrs Bermel was so responsive and helpful during my divorce that I can't say enough about her. I know I was frantic a lot but she took my calls any time and any day and was so knowledgeable, not just about family law but also about ...making sure my son's future needs would be taken care of. His teachers commented to me that they had never dealt with such a thorough and concerned lawyer before Mrs Bermel. I strongly recommend her and I don't think you could do better if you are going through a bad divorce like I did.
