Barbara A. Castrataro has been practicing exclusively in the field of matrimonial law and litigation for 35 years. She provides personal attention and responses to each client and designs intelligent and creative solutions to her cases. Areas of practice include complex financial valuation cases, high net worth asset division, complex child custody litigation, parental access and trials, including mental health and substance absue issues with forensics, equitable distribution trials, matrimonial agreements, the enforcement and modification thereof, negotiation of marital and cohabitation agreements, prenuptial agreements and appeals. As a fierce litigator, she posesses all of the tools to resolve your case by way of settlment or to take it to trial when a settlement cannot be reached. She has litigated contested matters in New York State Supreme Court, Family Court, and the Appellate Division First and Second Departments. Her practice also includes pre-nuptial agreements, post-nuptials, cohabitation agreements as well as mediation and collaborative divorces.
