Failed to Appear

I hired Harvey Rivera to appear on a traffic ticket. I paid him money and he told me I could leave cause he would handle everything from there. I got a letter in the mail a week later saying my court date had been adjourned for another date. I went back to court on the new date and ask Haryevy what h...ad happened and why it was moved. He told me everything was fine and that he was going to handle the ticket that day. A week later I got another letter in the mail saying that no one appeared and I was found guilt, leaving me to pay fines, get points, and also an impending suspension. I called three days in a row leaving messages for him but I never heard back. Now I will be filing a grievance with the bar association against him.

Worst experience ever

Back in 2012, a friend of mine referred me to attorney Harvey Rivera to help me dispute a cell phone ticket! On my court date, he assured me that I did not have to show up and that he will contact me the day of. I never heard from Mr. Rivera I tried several times contacting him and was never able to ...speak with him. Not until I received a letter stating my license was suspended. I literally had to show up to the DMV to confront him. He stated he will contact me with an update but of course, he never did! I constantly reached out to him and no luck! It is 2018 and I yet have heard from him. He also pled guilty to my boyfriends stop sign ticket and assured him that the ticket was dismissed. NIGHTMARE!

The bronx court they are all in this together?

I was given 6 tickets that were bogus and I took the traffic court officer to the CCRB in 2015. Officer Beuncourt from the 41st precient in the Bronx, admitted that he did not use discresionary judgement and that essentially he was wrong, he thought I cursed him. This lying ass officer is dangerous i...n many ways and I informed my lawyer Harvery Rivera of this fact. Mr. Rivera was good i must admit but I was not satisfied with the decision because it was quite obvious to me that all three of them were in this thing together. This was a lot of chummy stuff going on and it was as almost as if the judge just had to find me guilty on one of the violation on purpose, to get a some money like this was a big hustle. I watched them very closely and I am still skepical about this relationship with all parties mentioned above. I also felt that I was over charged by $50 but thats another story

Unethical Business

I was given a speeding ticket on 01/20/2015 hired Mr.Rivera made my payment over the phone. Getting in touch with the office is extremely difficult. They take down your information promising a call back from Mr. Rivera but that I never received. So I went to the DMV ,to find out my case was closed on... September 2017, the agent asked me who was my lawyer and the present day is February 5,2018. I paid $233 in fines , I called the law office while in the Department of Motor Vehicle and Teresa (secretary) told me my case was dismissed and I was found not guilty of any charges. When I confronted her with the situation, she quickly responded that it was my responsibility to follow up with the office. Please, do not conduct business with this establishment.
