Michael Arce

I am originally from the Bronx and studied Law at New York Law School.  I Graduated in 1991, from law school and was a prosecutor with the Brooklyn District Attorney's Office until I moved into Insurance Defense Litigation.  I started practicing on the other side, doing Plaintiff's Personal Injury, in the Bronx, in 1999.  

While not every case will result in a multimillion dollar award, I have litigated and obtained awards in excess of one million dollars.  Recently, one of our cases was awarded 3,895,000 in a settlement.  I maximize the value of each case while minimizing any risk to our clients.  The law firm is able to pay all fees on any case we accept and there are no fees until there is an award.  

I was an officer of the Bronx County Bar Association and appointed to the Indigent Defense Fund by the 1st Department.  I continue to give back to my community at a men's shelter and other community organizations.  I speak Spanish and English fluently.

My partner, Yolanda Arce, graduated from Brooklyn Law School in 1998 and was Court Attorney to two Bronx judges.  Yolanda also speaks Spanish and English fluently.  She started practicing Plaintiff's Personal Injury in 2002 and was an Administrative Law Judge.  We have been partners in the Arce Law Office, PLLC for ten years and are married 28 years.  We met in Taft High School, in the Bronx in 1978.  We have three sons who were all born in the Bronx.  Yolanda and I work well together.  Clients work with us directly and do not speak to anyone other than the two of us regarding their cases.  We are client focused and keep clients informed of all that relates to their cases.  You can learn more about us at or contact us at.
