In New York it's hard for a father to get a fair shake when it comes to custody of their children. Eskin & Eskin were able to get me full custody of my son. David Eskin was hired to represent me in my child custody case. At first he seem like a really nice man but in court and at his office he showed he did not truly care about my case. I filed for full custody and almost lost my son and custody to his father. He told me to give custody to my son father,... delete his child support which he is in arrears for over $35,000 and make him a happy man. He does not fight for you in court and agrees with the other parties attorney. When I showed him so much evidence he chose to know speak upon it in court. I winded up getting temporary visitations with my son which every court order was violated and I didn’t get to see my son for almost 2 months when I was suppose to have every wknd. I finally got the courage to speak up for myself in court and show I had evidence and the judge finally heard me and realized this lawyer was not doing his job and never tried to represent me the right way as a lawyer should. He was suppose to be there and represent me but instead he was totally against me. This man is truly a nightmare I will NEVER EVER FORGET! No WONDER HE WAS ALSO DISCIPLINED AS A LAWYER! If you care about your case and take it seriously, I suggest you do not hire this man or if he’s court appointed.. ask for another lawyer FAST!!! Thank God I hired another lawyer and now have my son back in my life! I will be letting the Bar Association know about his behavior as a lawyer.
