The client comes first. The attorneys job is to tell clients what they need to know. Not want they want to hear. It is important to understand the client's goals and the reasons for those goals and craft a strategy, working with the client, to achieve those goals within the parameters of the legal principles that guide matrimonial and family law. To do otherwise would be detrimental the the client's interests in the long run.
This office does not discriminate based on ethnicity (the word "race" is misused since we are all members of the human race), gender, sexual orientation or otherwise.
Because it is important to work closely with the client, the client must cooperate by providing the attorney with documents and information necessary to advance the case as quickly as possible and accurately. As I often say, the attorney has the tools and skills. The client must help provide the parts.
The goal of any case is an amicable resolution whenever possible. This is particularly true when children are involved since the relationship is never completely over. Fighting for the sake of fighting ony increases acrimony, time and expense to the client. However, when a settlement is not possible it is necessary to advocate on behalf of the client zealously within the bounds of law and ethics.

Provided wisdom, advice and I had success in my case. He was nice, honest, and told me what am I to expect, not what I want to hear or happen.

I’m posting this hoping to save another person from having the same terrible experience. Eric Gansberg is unprofessional, unreliable, disorganized and has no problem lying to you. I paid $1500 for a simple service that still isn’t complete, we had a court date in December, the judge was furious that ...
"I have had many cases against Eric. He is always well-prepared in Court and fights hard for his clients! He is also well-versed on the law! I heartily endorse him!"
