As an immigration attorney with years of experience, I offer my solid expertise in various aspects of immigration law. I possess extensive courtroom experience and in-depth knowledge of complex immigration proceedings: (Deportation/Removal Proceedings, Asylum, Adjustment and Waiver Hearings, etc.) from the initial application to the review by the United States Court of Appeals. Having successfully represented numerous clients before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second and Third Circuits and the Board of Immigration Appeals I have also achieved favorable results in filing family- and employment-based petitions as well as various non-immigrant visas.
I served as Lead Trial Attorney in the case of Miltiadous v. Tetervak, 686 F. Supp. 2D 544, 548 (E.D. Pa 2010), a landmark precedential decision, implementing the narrow exceptions or defenses contemplated by the Hague Convention on the International Child Abduction Remedies Act.
Prio to becoming a partner in Spektor Law Group, P.C. I worked as an associate at one of the larger more prominent immigration firms in New York. A firm known throughout New York City for enthusiastically taking on the cases that other lawyers turn down.
