L1 Visa German Employee

Ms. Fischer assisted me during the entire application process of my L-1A visa. At the beginning I was faced with an almost unsolvable problem. But Ms. Fischer navigated the process excellently and managed to file the visa application within a short time frame. I appreciate her knowledge, conscientiou...sness, experience and her practical tips for dealing with government agencies. She quickly earned my trust. It was helpful to discuss all the requirements both in German and in English. I highly recommend her services. Stephan

Customs pulled me aside upon landing in the US

I was in a real bind with immigration - specifically after Customs pulled me aside when I landed back in the US - apparently I had spent too much time outside the US (as a green card holder) and was about to loose my status - thanks to Ms. Fischer's quick action and counseling I am now a US citizen a...nd am free to travel as I please. Pheww - thank you!

Complex inquiry about eligibility for German Citizenship

Ms Fischer recently ( (July and August, 2017) helped me and my family with a complex question of my eligibility for belated (I am 70 years old) acquisition of German citizenship based on the question of my parents' forced departure from Nazi Germany in 1933 for political and religious/ethnic reasons.... While we had some of the necessary documents for considering the question the actual determination hinged on specialized knowledge of the original Postwar German legislation and especially the meaning and applicability of the 1953 amendments to section 116. Unfortunately the results were not favorable so I could not pursue citizenship, but Attorney Fischer was totally helpful and patient and kind in talking me through the phone consultation, exploring the documents we had emailed, and then carefully explaining the reasoning for the determination that despite my mother's heritage the Amendment did not cover my case. Attorney Fischer was very friendly, compassionate, and also professional and objective, and quite honest: she did not try to get me to engage in potentially costly searches that would most certainly not bear fruit.... Had there been likelihood of eligibility for citizenship I would most certainly have asked her without hesitation to take on the troubleshooting and advocacy needed to pursue the case through the German Consulate. I would recommend her services as absolutely excellent with regard to German Citizenship questions! I am confident she could handle French matters equally well. Respectfully, Peter
