Today, Barbie accompany me at my 341 Meeting. I got number 48, the last 3 people left on the room. But with her, i'm sure that i can end my nightmare today. And i will start my life again for bright future, i'm positive with that. I just lost my house at 2010 because of Foreclosure. At 2008. i l...ost my jobs and i'm a mother with 5 kids. That time, i try to contact one lawyer at Flushing about my situation. Because i can't pay my mortgage and i have a lot of credit card debts. Since i live in Queens, i decided to contact one bankruptcy lawyer at Flushing. After i paid $350 for first time consultation with that lawyer Mr Q, instead of he helping me, he just cursing on me for whole 1 hour our consultation. After that i went home, try to change my phone number, since i already give Mr Q my phone number. And i start living with nightmare, i'm scare to death for the past 4 years.After that i didn't do anything about my situation. I just flow like water in the river, Because i really have no idea what i have to do. This year, my husband just got his tax return, since we have joint account. Of course tax return money, we just leave it in our saving account for emergency, not much approx $4000. But for us, that's money mean a lot after everything we lost, especially we have 5 kids. You never know, what will happen. On May 11 '2012, we just got our big suprise. That day i woke up and my husband asking me to take some money from bank, since 1 day before i just deposit his pay stuff. And when i try to go to ATM, actually one message show up on the screen said "Please contact customer service" And then i went home, i call customer service, they transfer my call to their legal department. And bank legal department explain to me that our account "Frozen" because of garnishment (or something like that). I really don't know what's going on. After that i try to check on the internet again about my situation and i decide to give it one more try to hire lawyer. This time luck on my side, because i found Barbie. And after i check her feedback, i have feeling that she's "The One". I still remember, on Saturday i try to leave her message, even my husband told me that he think Barbie will not reply my message, especially is she is very good lawyer. And my husband ask my to try to call again on Monday. But before i got chance to call her, actually she reply my call and leave a message on my phone ( Monday, May 14 ' 2012) After we talk, she decided to move fast on my case. She set up a meeting for next day (Tuesday), and she prepare all my paper work within one day (Monday night), because she know that my baby was sick. So she try to get all my information over the phone. And on Tuesday, May 15 '2012 , i met her and she already finish with all my paper work. And she filling my bankruptcy case that day, can you believe it ??? Because she said that we need to move fast so she try to help me to "unfrozen our bank account". The next day, i got email from her, that she trying to contact my creditor and other people to help me to remove the judgment against me, since i already submit my file for bankruptcy. On Wednesday May 16 '2012 , my bank contact me and told me that my bank account already active. Because creditor already removed their judgment against me. And today ( June 20 '2012) she accompany me more than 3 hours to wait for my 341 meeting. And try to calm me. I really blessed to have Barbie as my attorney, because i saw so many people who pay lawyer and their lawyer not even show up. If you have any situation like mine or more than mine. I’m just writing to thank you Mrs. Barbie, not for just being a great lawyer with a great law firm, but also for being an incredible human being. Due to a huge amount of debt over the past 10 years and my wages was being garnished for the past 2 years. Last summer I discovered I have Pancreatic Canc...er and while going thru the rigors of surgery and chemotherapy and hoping for the best thru my recovery. The IRS sends me a letter informing me that they are going to garnish all my wages for everything except $179 per week, and put a lien on and/or reposes everything that I worked for. Mrs. Barbie after accepting my case she had advised me that my options were limited but the only way that I could recover from financial ruin is to file for bankruptcy. and this is the compassionate part, once I explained my physical and financial situation to her in great detail, she stream lined an affordable package for me and she even allowed me to make payments for the service she rendered, and like most business transactions there was cost overrun, she even absorbed those cost knowing that I couldn’t afford to pay anymore. (During that time I was only receiving $160 per week from disability). To this day she still calls and sends emails to check up on my recovery progress. I thank her so much for being such a caring, empathic and thoughtful person. I could have never done it if it wasn’t for her help.
