Barbie did the impossible which was to not ONLY keep me from going into foreclosure but to oversee and make sure the real estate people did their job as well. I had to deal with an uncooperative ex husband and property I no longer lived in. Barbie was tireless and brilliant in her strategy to bring a...bout a great resolution in very unpromising case. Without her commitment and energy ,I would still be under an oppressive loan that would have changed my lifestyle considerably. There are no words to describe just what Barbie means to my family. She is more than an accomplished attorney, more than a skilled individual; she became a member of my family. She held our hand through one of the most difficult moments that we’ve ever experienced to date. By addressing the root of the problem we were then able to understand how poor financial choices contributed to us almost losing our home of 28 years. Barbie also let us know that even though we were in a rough patch, that we deserved a fair shot at maintaining what we’ve worked so hard to achieve over the years. It blew my mind that she could guide and council us for hours on end and with such unwavering passion for us to succeed. What Barbie did for us was unheard of. Our mortgage payments were reduced from $2,100/month to $925/month. This was such a blessing and I know that it was no accident that she was placed in our lives. A few weeks ago my Grandmother passed away and because we still have our home, we were able to store my Grandmother’s keepsakes, albums and precious items that she had. This is something that I can’t fully express with words, but it gives me such peace of mind to have this assurance. Last year at this time, the banks were coming to take over our house. And 1 year later, we are still in OUR home, achieving and continually growing from a situation that was once so dismal but that we have conquered. When I met Barbie Lieber, I was in tears. I had been fraudulently tricked into purchasing two houses by an ex boyfriend, in Queens and in Brooklyn. My son was in trouble with the law. I was divorced wth no one to turn to. Creditors were suing me. The banks were foreclosing on the properties. ...I was at my wits end, feeling as though I had no way out. Today, Barbie accompany me at my 341 Meeting. I got number 48, the last 3 people left on the room. But with her, i'm sure that i can end my nightmare today. And i will start my life again for bright future, i'm positive with that. I just lost my house at 2010 because of Foreclosure. At 2008. i l...ost my jobs and i'm a mother with 5 kids. That time, i try to contact one lawyer at Flushing about my situation. Because i can't pay my mortgage and i have a lot of credit card debts. Since i live in Queens, i decided to contact one bankruptcy lawyer at Flushing. After i paid $350 for first time consultation with that lawyer Mr Q, instead of he helping me, he just cursing on me for whole 1 hour our consultation. After that i went home, try to change my phone number, since i already give Mr Q my phone number. And i start living with nightmare, i'm scare to death for the past 4 years.After that i didn't do anything about my situation. I just flow like water in the river, Because i really have no idea what i have to do. This year, my husband just got his tax return, since we have joint account. Of course tax return money, we just leave it in our saving account for emergency, not much approx $4000. But for us, that's money mean a lot after everything we lost, especially we have 5 kids. You never know, what will happen. On May 11 '2012, we just got our big suprise. That day i woke up and my husband asking me to take some money from bank, since 1 day before i just deposit his pay stuff. And when i try to go to ATM, actually one message show up on the screen said "Please contact customer service" And then i went home, i call customer service, they transfer my call to their legal department. And bank legal department explain to me that our account "Frozen" because of garnishment (or something like that). I really don't know what's going on. After that i try to check on the internet again about my situation and i decide to give it one more try to hire lawyer. This time luck on my side, because i found Barbie. And after i check her feedback, i have feeling that she's "The One". I still remember, on Saturday i try to leave her message, even my husband told me that he think Barbie will not reply my message, especially is she is very good lawyer. And my husband ask my to try to call again on Monday. But before i got chance to call her, actually she reply my call and leave a message on my phone ( Monday, May 14 ' 2012) After we talk, she decided to move fast on my case. She set up a meeting for next day (Tuesday), and she prepare all my paper work within one day (Monday night), because she know that my baby was sick. So she try to get all my information over the phone. And on Tuesday, May 15 '2012 , i met her and she already finish with all my paper work. And she filling my bankruptcy case that day, can you believe it ??? Because she said that we need to move fast so she try to help me to "unfrozen our bank account". The next day, i got email from her, that she trying to contact my creditor and other people to help me to remove the judgment against me, since i already submit my file for bankruptcy. On Wednesday May 16 '2012 , my bank contact me and told me that my bank account already active. Because creditor already removed their judgment against me. And today ( June 20 '2012) she accompany me more than 3 hours to wait for my 341 meeting. And try to calm me. I really blessed to have Barbie as my attorney, because i saw so many people who pay lawyer and their lawyer not even show up. If you have any situation like mine or more than mine.
