Nicholas Lieber Kass

I must leave this review and say that this man is awesome!!! I recommend him everyday! I had previously been through a very abusive fraudulent housing court case with my troublesome co-op where I had six (6) lawyers back to back take thousands of dollars and then quit and leave me for dead. I ultimat...ely won that case and the FOURTH lawyer even kept my entire award money (sixteen thousand dollars $16,000 plus the five thousand dollars $5,000. that I initially paid him). Now I'm suing all of them (co-op and lawyers) in the Supreme Court for resolve, which is how I came to Mr. Kass. Mr. Kass was a referral from a good friend who is the pastor of a well known church in Brooklyn, NY. Mr. Kass was not only super knowledgeable, but very kind and considerate and did not undermine my intelligence or act defensively just because I'm not a lawyer and have had so much difficulty with lawyers throughout the previous court process. He understood my concerns and even sincerely felt sorry that it happened to me. Mr. Kass took his time (for no charge) to really understand the nuances of my case and gave me very sound advice on proceeding. He even refused to let me hire him and pay thousands for something that I had almost finished myself and he explained to me in detail how to proceed with it to finish. I trust him and he is definitely my new lawyer for my troublemaking co-op property and for anything else that I ever need. Note: The last lawyer that I hired knew the others in the case and took thousands of dollars from me to help her friends out. She set out sabotaging the Supreme Court case and didn't show up for court dates. She then asked me to come in to her office and sign the lawyers out of the case. When I didn't get there, she sent the forms through e-mail and told me to sign them and send them in through the mail. She kept my money and continued to help the lawyers behind my back. She is now under investigation with the lawyer disciplinary committee. I'm so glad I that I was referred to Mr. Kass and that I gave speaking to a lawyer about this issue one final chance. He is definitely not interested in abusing people and he is OLD SCHOOL SMART WITH THE LAW!!! I posted him on my facebook and said that he is eccentric (like me) has brains, decency, and subtle but killer swagger :). You won't be let down in any regard with this attorney!

This guy is a horrible business person!!!!! He hardly EVER answers his phone in the office, and he doesn't return phone calls!! He would prefer to communicate with his clients by e-mail, which is very shady. His constant delays and miscommunications almost cost me the sale of my property. He doesn't ...keep the client informed at all. I can't understand how he is even still in business, especially since a majority of the clients that attorneys receive are referred by other clients. I would not recommend using this attorney at all.
