Biography
Gary Morgenstern serves as Of Counsel at David Resnick & Associates, P.C., focusing his practice on personal injury litigation. Since joining the firm in 2011 and becoming an attorney in 2014, he has dedicated his career to advocating for victims in complex cases involving motor vehicle accidents, slip, trip, and falls, workplace injuries, and wrongful death claims.
Before dedicating his practice to personal injury law, Gary gained invaluable judicial perspective by interning at the Brooklyn Supreme Court for the Honorable Justice Jeffrey S. Sunshine, the Supervising Judge of Matrimonial Matters for Kings County.
Gary also brings a highly unique and dynamic background in legal entertainment to his practice. From 2003 to 2007, he worked with the legal entertainment network Court TV. Following that, he spent two years in the legal department of Sony Pictures Television, working on popular daytime courtroom programs including Judge Hatchett, Judge David Young, Judge Maria Lopez, and Judge Karen.
He earned his Juris Doctor from St. John's University School of Law in 2013, where he was honored with the prestigious Dean's Award for Excellence. He previously earned his bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at New Paltz in 2001. Gary was admitted to the New York State Bar in January 2014 and remains committed to providing hands-on, dedicated representation to New Yorkers in need.
