Jay S. Knispel

Jay S. Knispel is the firm’s Founder and Managing Partner. Mr. Knispel is a Brooklyn personal injury attorney representing clients in cases involving all kinds of injuries, including but not limited to: automobile and car accidents, premises liability, construction accidents, medical malpractice, nursing home neglect or abuse, lead paint or carbon monoxide poisoning, slip-and-falls, dog bites, products liability, injuries caused by defective equipment and any other personal injuries or accidents that result in serious injury or death. Attorney Knispel is licensed to practice law in the states of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. He is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He is a member in good standing of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association and the New York State Bar Association.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Mr. Knispel is a graduate of Binghamton University and received his law degree from Albany Law School of Union University. Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Knispel was inducted into the prestigious National Order of the Barristers. Prior to opening his own practice, Mr. Knispel was a Senior Trial Attorney for a major, national insurance company. He represented commercial clients such as United Parcel Service, Red Lobster restaurants, Federated Department Stores as well as hundreds of individuals. Mr. Knispel has litigated multi-million dollar catastrophic injury cases in the areas of automobile liability, products liability and premises liability. His verdicts have been published numerous times in theNew York Jury Verdict Reporter, and most recently, in the New York Law Journal. He currently serves as trial counsel to some of the most respected law firms in New York City. Mr. Knispel was recognized in Verdict Searches’ publication of “Top New York Verdicts of 2010.” Mr. Knispel has also lectured throughout the Northeast in the areas of automobile liability, premises liability and contractual indemnification.
