Flaky, manipulative and fakes compassion for potential clients

Consulted with 3 lawyers, Mary immediately comes off as caring and pays attention to every little detail and to gain your trust during consultation. After that, unless you throw your money at her she will string you along. She advertises up front pricing, sometimes flat rate services and when I reque...sted that, she kept avoiding the topic. Finally when she gave me an idea of some costs I asked to take the weekend to think about it. I tried contacting her on Monday and she would not get back to me till the following week and seemed to have almost no idea of what we had previously discussed and then quoted me prices that were at least double. When I called her on it she said, yea just send me an email agreeing to retain me and I'll work with that. These communications were all done via email or text. I kept asking for a phone call because she would take days to respond. Finally she calls me and says she doesn't want to work with me because I'm being difficult and was speaking badly about her. I'm sorry asking for pricing and setting expectations is considered difficult (especially since you advertise it as one of your best attributes) and as far as speaking badly about you, well that would be this review which you deserve (which is the only time I've ever spoken about you). You strung me along for weeks (which is my own fault for trusting you) and now my finances will pay the price because I could have represented myself right away and been in better shape than where you left me.
