In these troubled times that we live in, it was very reassuring to have worked with Ms. Amato in establishing an estate plan that would be relevant, accurate and all inclusive to protect me and my 2 sons. I met Ms. Amato at a workshop she gave at the Riverdale Y some time ago and was amazed at all ...the things that were of the utmost importance in creating an estate plan, in my case, a revocable plan. She spoke of wills, health care issues, revocable vs. irrevocable trusts, etc. It was overwhelmed to say the least! Ms. Amato was very knowledgeable, well prepared, addressed all questions ensuring her responses were understood by her audience. I took her up on her offer of a free consultation and was allowed to bring my friend Susan as an extra set of ears. Having been widowed and dealing with my husband's business affairs, I was not thinking of my future or the future of my sons. Ms. Amato put it all in perspective and very patiently explained things and presented various options. I asked her for her professional opinion and found that it was certainly the way to go. It took some time for me to gather the necessary information but we finally got the job done! Her staff in the Bronx office was very helpful as well. Although my documents have been "signed, sealed and delivered", Ms. Amato will still take my calls and respond to any questions that might come up. Ms. Amato came and spoke at a meeting for seniors at our church. She was very informative and easy to understand. My best friend was in attendance and spoke with her about setting up a Trust. She set up an appointment and spent many hours explaining everything to us. As co-trustee I was very impresse...d. It helped us tremendously to organize a man's life of 86years and showed us how to protect his assets and express his legacy. We learned for some people a Will is just not enough.
